Scented Soy Wax Melts
Wax Melts are a fantastic way to accessorise your home whilst allowing the scents you love to fill the room. They are also perfect if you do not have a lot of time. Once the tea light is lit in the burner, the wax on top will start to melt and the smell will be released within 5-10 minutes.
Our wax melts are produced in Darcey’s branded square clam shell packs of 4 or 8. Each melt has the approx. burning time of 8 hours (roughly 2x 4hr tea lights)
When used and cared for correctly, these are completely safe. To ensure that your oil burner continues to work safely and effectively, please follow these instructions:
• Rinse the inside of the burner, preferably between each new tea light. Soot can build up inside the burner from the tealight (particularly if using the paraffin tealights)
• Ensure that all tags, safety instructions, labels etc are removed from the burner before use.
• Use a heat-resistant mat underneath the burner to prevent marks on counters, shelves etc.
• Use Soy Wax tealights.
• Never use scented tealights in oil burners.
• Never leave burner unattended when in use.
• When the scent has gone from the burning melt, you will be left with the Soy Wax in the burner. Leave it to cool and then place in the fridge. Once it has gone cold you will be able to pop the wax out and discard it in the bin. Ensure that you leave the burner to room temperature before using again to avoid the burner from cracking.
Scented Soy Wax Candles
Our scented Soy Wax candles are an ideal way to fragrance your home if you aren’t keen on using oil burners or wax melts.
Our small jar candles hold 130ml of scented wax with a burning time of up to 40 hours.
Our large jar candles hold 330ml of scented wax with a burning time of up to 90 hours.
For best results, please follow these instructions:
• Make sure that you are only using candles when you are likely to have them lit for some time. When burning the candle, you should allow the wax to melt across the full top of the candle, you should allow the wax to melt across the full tip of the candle before extinguishing to avoid welling.
• Use a heat-resistant mat underneath the candle to prevent marks on counters, shelves etc.
• Never leave a candle unattended.
• Always remember to trim the candle wick. After the first burn, check the wick and trim before relighting the candle.
